Y’all. Where does the time go? I can’t believe February 2016 is here. But, enough of me fretting over the time (there just isn’t enough of it) let’s dive in to where we left off since.
Our Little Corner of the World
have own a house. It’s still hard for me to wrap my mind around owning a house, am I old enough to own a house? Our house is painted (EVERY. SINGLE. ROOM.), decorated, and has been warmed. We’ve been completely and utterly blessed with supportive friends and family who have helped by going above and beyond to get our house finished and perfected. It’s taken Ryan and I several weeks, but it finally feels like a home. I still have several projects I want to work on, but for now we can actually relax and enjoy our home.
Work. Work. Work. Oh, and More Work.
I honestly feel like I’m being pulled in about 700 different directions. I’ve got my work with FedEx, Chancey Charm Memphis, blogging, friends, family, church, etc. All I do is work work work. It’s fun at times, but mostly just super overwhelming. I’m currently reading The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst (affliate link), and I love every single point she makes. The wonderful Sarah Chancey (Chancey Charm Founder) sent me a copy with my welcome package, and I’m so thankful that she did. As my days speed up and work seems like all I do, it’s nice to know others are out there just like me trying to find the Best Yes.
Everything Changes with the Seasons
Over the past few months I’ve had a lot of changes with my life. A new house, new jobs (yes, plural), new church, basically a new everything. It’s been exciting, challenging, thrilling, scary, and every other word that comes to mind. However, I’ve definitely learned that no matter what happens in life God is our constant. He is a rock in hard times (Psalm 18:2), our refuge in scary times (Psalm 46:1), and our biggest cheerleader in times of joy. I am so incredibly thankful for a God that loves me more than the sparrows (Matthew 10:31). So even in the tough times, I’ve learned to praise His name, always. I wish everyone knew the love and grace God gives His children like I do.
I know I post this every time, but I am seriously going to blog more! Be looking for more posts in the coming month (I hope!).
